U-Pick Cherries mid-July through mid-August
ABOUT OUR FARM
Morrison Farms has been a family-owned and operated farm since 1890. Our family originally migrated from Scotland in the 1820's and settled n the Elk Rapids/Williamsburg area here in Michigan. As the third generation to inherit, Mark and his wife, Tracy, are blessed to continue the family tradition of fruit farming.

Our focus has been on growing cherries and apples commercially. However, for the past 15 years, we opened a roadside market to sell our fruit and vegetables from our personal garden. We have since expanded and opened a country store which sells locally-sourced food products, gifts, antiques and crafts.
Coming up in the 2021 season will be our new sweet shop. We will offer daily-made donuts, home-baked pies, and ice cream treats.
WHAT'S GOING ON
AT MORRISON FARMS?
We begin our season in May with asparagus. In June, we will have strawberries, and we'll finish out the season in July with cherries. We do offer a U-Pick cherries service. You can schedule an appointment using the contact form below, but walk-ins are welcome.

Starting in August, we will be harvesting other fruit like peaches, nectarines, apricots, and the first vegetables from the garden. September through October is apple, pumpkin, donut, and cider season which will end the first of November.

Country Store and Sweet Shop
In our country store, you will find that our food and products are all Michigan-made and locally-sourced. We have jams, salsa, pie-filling, dried cherries, honey, maple syrup, and so much more. We also feature handmade products like soap, jewelry, candles, clothing and baskets. And scattered around the store are numerous antiques for sale.

In our sweet shop, you can watch the donuts being made fresh every morning. Purchase a home-baked pie or take and bake one for later. Enjoy ice cream with a slice of pie or get a scoop on a cone. Enjoy the variety of penny candy and weighing it out on the old fashioned scale.
