Rooted in Tradition, Growing for the Future

Morrison Farms has been proudly family-owned and operated since 1890. Our heritage traces back to the 1820s when our ancestors migrated from Scotland and settled in the Elk Rapids/Williamsburg area of Michigan. Today, as the third generation to carry on this legacy, Mark and his wife, Tracy, are honored to continue the family tradition.

Our farm specializes in the cultivation of cherries and apples. Over the past fifteen years, we have expanded our offerings by opening a roadside market to sell fresh fruit and vegetables from our personal garden. This endeavor has since grown into a full country store featuring locally sourced food products, gifts, antiques, and handcrafted goods.

In the upcoming 2025 season, we are excited to continue the operation of our sweet shop, where visitors can enjoy freshly made donuts, home-baked pies, and ice cream treats. We look forward to welcoming you to Morrison Farms and sharing the best of our farm-fresh offerings.

Seasonal Schedule

Our harvest season begins in May with fresh asparagus, followed by strawberries in June, and concludes in July with cherries. We offer a U-Pick experience for strawberries, cherries, blueberries, and apples. Appointments can be scheduled using the contact form below, but walk-ins are always welcome.

Beginning in August, we harvest a variety of fruits, including peaches, nectarines, and apricots, along with the first vegetables from our garden. From September through October, we feature apples and pumpkins, complemented by our homemade donuts and fresh cider. The season officially concludes in early November.

We are dog friendly.

For those interested in learning more about the operations of a fifth-generation fruit farm, we offer brief orchard tours upon request. Please contact us for more details.

In our sweet shop, visitors can watch fresh donuts being made on weekends from mid-September through the end of October.
